  3. DP,

miss your show. I would like to see you bring in Dibs from time to time. When you, Dibs and Sean (the QB) were together it was the best radio ever!

good luck with your new show.

  4. Can you run up the score in Pro-Sports? What do you consider a safe lead in the NFL? How many points can a team like…Houston, put on the board in 15 minutes? The NBA? Would a 25 point lead be safe anywhere? These guys get paid serious money to be ready to play, they deserve a good axx kicking if they’re not prepared!
Lou Holtz, the wise old coach who was accused of that a few times himself, stated it was not his job to stop his offense from scoring. The opposing coach and defense was responsible for that.
In college sports, don’t you usually see blowouts when power schools want an “impressive win” and they schedule games with teams that know going in, they’re about to be embarrassed so the AD collects a check? Who should hide their heads, the kids from Samford for getting beat 69-14 at Georgia Tech, or a couple AD’s for scheduling the game?

Hey Dan, get back on the radio, we miss you!

  6. Dan,
I really miss you on espn radio. Your show was very informative and entertaining. In fact I miss you on Sportscenter, but I understand the call to move to other horizons. You brought professionalism, wit, and fun to sports. On your new radio program are you broadcast in Chicago? A couple of thoughts to leave with you. I think Michigan will do well to bring on Les Miles. Michigan football will never look the same. Thank God! ; I know its early but a New England v Green Bay Super Bowl would be fun; Disappointment of the NFL year San Diego. Peace and Happy Thanksgiving.

  8. Dan,

I am not sure Las Vegas is a good place for a professional sports team. It is good for single events like boxing, though. My reasoning is that Vegas is a very fast growing city, but it very unusual. I doubt a large portion of the population works anywhere near from 8am-5pm. The 24-hour city has a large amount of workers that do swing shifts, split shifts and night shifts in the casino business. The competition for the entertainment dollar is tough. A new sports arena would have to be very near the strip or downtown with easy public transportation. The combination of visitors and a growing population make car traffic horrible during the time most games are played.

  9. Dan,

A question you posed to Rich Rodriguez that can be flipped around and asked to you: What can you do now that you could not do at ESPN?

It would be hypocritical for you to criticize someone for accepting a job with greater benefits - beit monetary, fringe, or opportunity - and not scrutinize your own decision to leave a comfy position with the World Wide Leader.

  10. Why is Kelly Tilghman getting ripped so much she make the comment that was dumb and she apologized for it on the air yesterday. She paid a price for it and should be allowed to cover golf.
